To ensure a calm and safe environment for all dogs, we don’t offer traditional meet & greets. Instead, all new dogs are required to complete a trial day, where we carefully introduce them to our space and assess their behaviour in a controlled setting. This allows us to ensure they’re comfortable, happy, and a good fit for our daycare environment. We’ll keep you updated throughout the day with photos and feedback. It is completely normal for some dogs to feel unsure or a little overwhelmed during their first visit as they adjust to a new setting. Many dogs take a few visits before they feel fully relaxed and confident around the pack. 

We are open 7 days a week from 7:00am – 6:00pm.

We also offer early drop-off from 6:00am and late pick-up after 6:00pm for a small surcharge. If you require a pick-up or drop-off outside these times, please let us know when making your booking so we can arrange it where possible.

We kindly ask all pet parents to arrive within these time windows to ensure a smooth and stress-free routine for all dogs.

For everyone’s safety, we do not accept dogs that display aggressive behaviour. Dogs must be able to socialise comfortably with other dogs. If a dog is very anxious or reactive in a group setting, daycare may not be suitable. However, they may still be able to stay with us and enjoy one-on-one time and play with our team.

We are happy to accommodate pets with special needs or those who require medication during their stay. To ensure the extra care and attention they need, a small additional fee of $10 per day applies. Please provide clear instructions and any required medication at drop-off so we can care for your pet safely and comfortably.

All dogs joining Pet Paradise Daycare begin with a trial day, where we take the time to get to know your dog and see how they feel in our social environment.

We ask new dogs to arrive at 7:00am when we open, so they are the first to enter. This gives them a calm start to the day, allowing them to explore the space, sniff around and settle in before the other dogs arrive. Once they’re comfortable, we gradually introduce them to a small group of suitable dogs to see how they interact, communicate and play. Throughout the morning we supervise closely to ensure they are happy, relaxed and enjoying the experience. At the end of the trial, we will update you on how your dog went. If they are comfortable in the environment and social with the group, they are welcome to continue their day at Pet Paradise and become part of the pack.

At Pet Paradise, all dogs sleep comfortably indoors in a safe, home-style environment. We do not use cages unless specifically requested by the owner. Dogs are given their own comfortable sleeping space where they can relax and feel secure overnight. Our goal is to make their stay feel as close to home as possible, so they can rest comfortably after a fun day of play. If your dog has a bed, blanket, or comfort item from home, you’re welcome to bring it along to help them settle in. We also have space available if you would like to bring your dog’s crate, if that is what they are most comfortable sleeping in.

No. The safety of all dogs in our care is extremely important to us. Every dog is carefully assessed for behaviour and temperament, and we only accept dogs that are friendly and suitable for a social daycare and boarding environment. Dogs showing aggressive behaviour will not be accepted or will be separated if necessary to ensure a safe space for everyone

For the comfort of all pets, we generally do not allow visits during their stay. However, we provide regular updates and photos to keep you informed about your pet’s well-being.

In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact you immediately and take your pet to your designated veterinarian or the nearest emergency vet clinic, as necessary. We are also certified in pet first aid with a first aid kit on hand.

We prioritize your pet's comfort and well-being during their stay. While we do not provide meals for boarding pets, we encourage pet owners to bring their dog's regular food to maintain consistency and comfort. Please bring your pet’s food to last their stay along with specific feeding instructions. This helps ensure your dog receives the familiar diet they are used to. If your dog has special dietary requirements or food allergies, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate their needs effectively.

For the safety and wellbeing of all pets in our care, all dogs and cats attending Pet Paradise Day care or Boarding must be fully vaccinated and up to date.

 Required vaccinations include:

• C5 vaccination for dogs

• F3 vaccination for cats

We offer small to medium dog day care, designed to create a safe, calm and well-structured social environment. All dogs are carefully assessed to ensure they are suitable for group play.

Our large dog day stay service is designed to provide a calm, safe, and structured environment for bigger breeds. Unlike traditional daycare, large dogs are cared for in a controlled, low-stimulation setting with no group play, ensuring the safety of all dogs and reducing the risk of overstimulation or conflict. Each dog receives personalised 1-on-1 care, including:

• Supervised outdoor time

• Mental stimulation & enrichment

• Rest and relaxation in a comfortable space

• Individual attention throughout the day

This service is perfect for large dogs who prefer their own space, have high energy, or are not suited to group environments. Your dog will be treated like part of the family while enjoying a safe and stress-free day at Pet Paradise.

We do not offer group day care for large dogs. However, our large dog day stay service is designed to provide a calm, safe, and structured environment for bigger breeds. Unlike traditional daycare, large dogs are cared for in a controlled, low-stimulation setting with no group play, ensuring the safety of all dogs and reducing the risk of overstimulation or conflict. Yes, we welcome both small and large dogs for overnight boarding. Each stay is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for during their time with us. Dogs are managed based on their size, temperament and suitability to maintain a calm and structured environment. Small and large dogs are kept in separate, carefully managed groups, and are not mixed. Large dogs are not placed in group settings with other large dogs, and all interactions are closely supervised to ensure safety and comfort.

The number of dogs in our care varies depending on the day and bookings. We always keep numbers at a manageable level to ensure every dog receives plenty of supervision, attention and space to play safely.

Yes, we offer cat boarding on request. Cats stay in a calm, quiet area away from other pets to ensure a safe and stress-free environment. Owners are asked to provide food, and we can cater to special routines or medication if needed. Please note, we do not offer meet and greets for cat boarding.
